TikTok a ‘massive retail opportunity’ for Just Hype

We are one of the first fashion retailers to pilot video-sharing platform TikTok’s in-app purchasing software.

As part of the trial, which began in April, shoppers can purchase our products directly through the brand’s page on the app. We have also been hosting live shopping events in which shoppers can view and purchase products during an hour-long live event hosted by our team.

Bav Samani, our co-founder, said: “It was a huge privilege to be invited by TikTok to be one of the first to trial in-app retail purchases. There is a massive retail opportunity for youth focused fashion brands like Just Hype given TikTok’s popularity with generation Z and their 600 million plus monthly average users. We are still learning and experimenting with the most suitable formats but are particularly excited about the potential for live shopping events hosted through our TikTok channel.”

We currently have 430,000 TikTok followers and expect to hit 1 million by the end of the year.
